This homeowner in Monticello, Indiana began noticing cracks in the dry wall inside her home causing concern about the foundation of her home. She began searching for reliable foundation repair companies on the Internet and contacted Basement Systems of Indiana for a free estimate. Our Sales Inspector Jay went out to her home to determine the severity of the foundation issues and determine a solution for our production team to resolve the issue.
After doing a thorough walkthrough inside and outside of the home, Jay determined that there was evidence of foundation settlement, which needed to be addressed before the problem worsens. His recommendation to stabilize the home was to install Helical Piers that would attempt to lift the home back to its original level.
Our experienced foundation repair crew, led by our Foreman Wes and his crew members John and Jon-Wesley, installed 5 helical piers for permanent stabilization of the home. The crew used an excavator to dig out the area to drive the helical piers into the soil.
