A resident of Dayton, Indiana was concerned about water constantly seeping into her basement during a heavy rain and moisture on the walls. The basement is a used as a storage space for this homeowner and her primary concern was ensuring that her valuables stay dry at all times. She began searching for reliable basement waterproofing contractors in the area and contacted a few companies for a free estimate.
During our visit from our certified inspector Terry, he assured that homeowner that there was a basement waterproofing solution that would guarantee the basement staying dry even during a strong weather event. Terry completed a thorough inspection of the basement and determined that the source of water was mainly coming through the block walls. Having a full perimeter drainage system on the interior of the basement would be able to redirect water seeping through from the wall, floor, and the footer to a sump pump system.
Our talented production team used jack hammers to break out a trench approximately a foot away from the wall on top of the basement footer. This allows us to place our patented WaterGuard floor drainage system, in which water will then flow through around the perimeter of the basement until it reaches our TripleSafe sump pump system. The crew also installed a battery backup system with the TripleSafe sump pump to protect the basement in case of a power outage. The homeowner was very satisfied with the results of her new waterproofing system that will keep her storage items dry!
